Rishi Supalawa ape man/wanara hairy white. He is a twin brother (Java = dampit) with Wisnukapiwara black hairy (langur). They were friends of Sanghyang Vishnu and lived in Kahyangan Untarasegara.
By Sanghyang Vishnu, Supalawa was assigned as the caretaker of Bathara Parikenan, grandson of Sanghyang Vishnu, son of Bathari Srihunon with Bathara Bramanaresi (Bremani), son of Sanghyang Brahma.
When Manumayasa / Kanumayasa, son of Bathara Parikenan with Goddess Bramaneki descended to Arcapada, by Sanghyang Vishnu, Supalawa was ordered to accompany him. He helped Manumayasa build Padepokan Retawu on one of the peaks of Mount Saptaarga.
As a confidant Andel Rishi Manumayasa, Supalawa managed to maintain peace Hermitage Retawu. With his power he also managed to repel the Giants Pringgandani under the leadership of King Arimbaka who attacked the Hermitage Retawu.
After his old age, Supalawa left the Hermitage Retawu, preceded Rishi Manumayasa, to live in Paremana, still in the area of Mount Saptaarga, in the former Hermitage Bathara Bramanaresi (Bremani), grandfather Rishi Manumayasa.
With the approval of Sanghyang Vishnu, she married a hapsari, and sent down the wanara / ape men, including Rishi Mayanggaseta / Pracandaseta, a white monkey who lived in pandansurat Hermitage, Jodipati Kingdom, Amarta state.
At the end of his narration, Rishi Supalawa died of moksha at a very advanced age, and his spirit returned to Nirvana.
