11 Ways To Increase Google Adsense CPC 2023

Your Google Adsense CPC is very small. Here are tips on how to increase your CPC and overall Google Adsense revenue :

Step 1: Choose A Blog Niche

One of the most important aspects of CPC is the blog niche.

Just ask the owner of an education blog in Indonesia with a technology blog.

Surely most of them answered CPC education blog is lower than technology.

I've even seen on the Facebook group there are those who answer that the CPC education niche is below Rp. 100.

Earlier in the blog niche article I mentioned, what niche is suitable and not suitable for Adsense.

Step 2: Ad Unit Size

From Adsense account data, the best CPC ads so far are :

    Reponsif

    160×600

    480×60

    320×100

    320×250

    729×90

    300×600

For the size of all Indonesian blogs above the average Rp. 300. Of course, it depends on the niche, if a good niche can penetrate Rp. 1,000-Rp 5,000.

So just experiment, which size is good for your blog, because every blog has different results.

Step 3: Block low CPC ads

I think there are certain ads in Google Adsense that are spam and certainly low CPC.

Here are some words I use to block :

    witchcraft

    pellets

    mercy

    pesugihan

    magical fund

    unseen money

    shaman

    paranormal

    qq

    ritual

    divine

    sacrifice

    practice

    debt

    pay off

    lunas

    debt

    quick prayer

    wealth.

For others, please explore for yourself.

Step 4: Create A Custom Channel

Ads with placement targeting always give a higher CPC than other regular ads.

One of the most effective ways to increase AdSense CPC, is to attract AdWords advertisers to consider your blog / website as an ad placement target.

So from now on ayuk, create a dedicated channel.

Step 5: Enable Interest-Based Ads

From my Adsense stats, Interest-Based Ads are the second highest value ads, losing only to placement targeting.

To enable or disable Interest-Based Advertising Features, can be set on :

    Select the blocking control menu.

    Select All Sites.

    Select ad serving.

By default it is allowed all, just set it as needed.

Step 6: Ad Placement Location

This has to do with the first point which is placement targeting. That is, ad placement or location has a lot of influence on CTR and CPC.

If the ad is placed in the upper half of the screen (above the fold), or in other important locations, then the chance of getting ads with placement targets from advertisers is relatively greater, which ultimately makes CPC also go up.

From experience, the upper half of this screen CPCnya passable, to blog Indonesia can be stable between Rp 500 – Rp 3,000.

Step 7: Enable Third-Party Ad Networks

Google integrates third-party advertising services in Adsense. That is, ads from third parties will compete with Adsense ads and will display the highest rated ads on your blog.

Make sure you've turned on third-party ad networks, here's how :

    Select the blocking control menu.

    Select All Sites.

    Select An Ad Network.

    Then activate it.

In addition, you can also not enable ad networks with low CPC and CPM, at the bottom.

To find out which ad networks are underperforming, look in the reports menu and select ad networks.

Step 8: Number Of Ad Units

The number of ad units used on a page does not directly affect the CPC value, but there are several factors that affect the CPC value indirectly.

If you have too many ad blocks on your blog, advertisers will probably avoid your blog, so you lose the chance of getting ads with targeted placement.

Remember that ads with placement targeting always give a higher CPC than other ads, so if you lose them, it will greatly affect your average AdSense CPC.

Step 9: Determine The Target Visitor Location

It is no longer a secret, every location or country has a different CPC. The most common examples like Indonesia and the US, the CPC here and there is definitely bigger.

So if you want to increase AdSense CPC, make sure you also specify a location other than the blog niche.

Step 10: increase the number of visitors from Search engines

Visitors from the average search engine can increase the CTR and CPC of Google Adsense ads.

The most basic example, you have an article that discusses the cheapest cellphone, then visitors who come from search engines by typing the keyword “cheapest cellphone” visit the article.

Then in the article visitors see HP ads that match what they are looking for. So that way visitors will visit the ad even to buy the cellphone.

From the example above CPC and CTR will definitely rise, the point is that relevant ads with articles and CPC and CTR visitors will increase.
