For this one printer there are indeed various problems, but this time
I will share with my friends all the ways to overcome the shaded print results
(double letter).
Usually entering the age of printers that have been above two years, problems like this always arise, this is because the axles contained in the carriage unit have begun to wear out by friction.
Well if it's like this inevitably we have to replace the carriage unit with a new one.
To replace this part is not so difficult following the steps :
- Remove all printer supplies such as,
top cover, tray, and knob platen on the right side
- Open the 4 locking screws on the printer cover
- Remove the print head from the carriage unit with
opening one of the existing locking couplers
- Open the locking bushing on the right and left sides of the carriage axle, after that
remove the carriage from its axles and replace with new ones, do not forget to
provide lubricating oil to the foam contained under the carriage unit
- Replace the parts in order and the printer can now print again
with normal.
